  • compelling market and demographic research presented by Ipsos and Professors Andrew Billings and Brody Ruihley (all of which will be made available to FSTA members via their login at FSTA.org);
  • CBSSports.com’s announcement that it’s opening up its fantasy sports API to third-party developers and companies to create apps for their products and services;
  • the annual FSTA Expert League Baseball Draft that aired live on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio;
  • informative panels on Changing Business Models, Non-Traditional Revenue Sources, New Product Demos and Facebook/social media;
  • an Elevator Pitch panel, sponsored by paysafecard and won by Blue Ox Entertainment, that featured a number of new companies in the space; and
  • the induction of David Dodds, Brandon Funston, Emil Kadlec, Nate Ravitz, Peter Schoenke and Ron Shandler into the Fantasy Sports Writers Association Hall of Fame

The FSTA also announced the following winners of the 2011 FSTA Awards at Tuesday night’s banquet sponsored by Associated Press:
